Sam Schultz

I'm a Wisconsin farmboy on my way to save trees for the world. My interest in environmental issues allowed me to study water resources mgmt. through the Nelson Institute. I'm a firm believer in interdisciplinary research and its approach to problem solving. After a M.S. degree from the Nelson Institue I found a home in the Dept. of Forest and Wildlife Ecology. There I study the regeneration success of native tree species to assist the WiDNR. Along the way I have taken most botany courses and feel at home in Birge HL. Now I learn as much from the students I teach as from my professors. I hope I never stop learning.
